Emily Robinson c.1940

Emily Denya, generally known as Emily Robinson, was the last of the Ngadjonji compulsorily sent to Palm Island in the 1950's.

Many people, including her employer Reg Johnston, petitioned the Protector of Aboriginals for her release but she died before she could return.
